Case Studies

What follows is a series of overviews on a select group of Judith Robinson's research projects.

Legal Survey: Language and Instruction Evaluation

  • Objectives: to elicit language and attributes for use in a quantitative survey and to evaluate the clarity of procedures for attorneys and law students.

  • In individual interviews, attorneys and students completed a pre-test of an online survey and discussed areas of confusion and difficulty.

  • Triadic sorting was also used to elicit a spectrum of attributes by comparing and contrasting competitors.

  • Outcome: modified directions and phrasing of the survey instrument.
