What follows is a series of overviews on a select group of Judith Robinson's research projects.
Medical Device Instruction Assessment
- Objective: to explore ease of use and clarity of instructions for a medical delivery device to be used by children.
- Physicians and nurses/trainers were interviewed individually, while parents and children were interviewed in dyads in which they were observed using the device and then questioned about the completeness of written and video instructions.
- Outcome: modifications to the labeling on the device, to the packaging and to the instructions prior to moving to the next phase of development.
